The Recovery Specialist I provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served and is consistent with recovery-centered care principles.
Shifts Available Short-Hour 0.3 | AM 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM Wednesday or NOC 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM Wednesday
Expected starting wage range is $17.13 - $20.61. The full wage range goes up to $24.12. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
High school or G.E.D.
Demonstrated sensitivity to behavioral health issues and multi‑cultural populations (e.g., exposure through family relationships, volunteering, or other previous experience(s) or coursework)
Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)

At the Telecare Fern Lodge Behavioral Wellness program, we provide intensive mental health and psychiatric treatment services in a safe, welcoming environment for adults requiring continued time for stabilization and recovery support. Our secure facility includes a full staff of registered nurses, clinicians, peer specialists, and social workers on‑call 24‑hours a day to provide wraparound support.
Our services are designed using Telecare's Recovery‑Centered Clinical System (RCCS). Through the lens of trauma‑informed care, this system incorporates evidence‑based practices and innovative design components. RCCS focuses on choice‑making skills, harm‑reduction techniques, and strives to awaken the hopes and dreams of the individual. The RCCS emphasizes “no‑force first” practices. Staff work with individuals within their cultural dynamic in building independence and self‑responsibility to foster their recovery and successfully transition them home or to a less restrictive community setting.

Peer support and community group meetings
Social and recreational activities
Rehabilitation programming
Supportive counseling on a group and individual basis
