Job Summary We are seeking a

Clinical Dietitian

(FT, PT or PRN hours) to join the Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in Charleston, SC.

Location Morrison Healthcare at MUSC Health, Charleston, SC

Setting Inpatient

Schedule Mon-Fri with rotating weekends

Requirements Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensed by the state dietetics board where required.

Salary $61,500 – $70,000 (based on Payscale)

Key Responsibilities

Provide medical nutrition therapy including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for the patient population.

Follow all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.

Comply with federal, state, accrediting agencies, HIPAA, confidentiality, and patient rights policies.

Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.

Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

Qualifications

Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required.

One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
