5:00pmPractice SettingSetting: Ambulatory / OutpatientFTE: 1.0 (full-time position available)EMR: CernerClinical EnvironmentPrimary outpatient infusion center with 15 private bays arranged around a central nursing hub for patient safety and comfort17-bed inpatient oncology unit with daily multidisciplinary roundsWeekly tumor boardsRapid diagnosis clinicTwo radiation centersDuties & ResponsibilitiesProvide expert hematology and oncology careUtilize the co-located infusion center for modern treatment deliveryCollaborate closely with nurse navigators, social workers, and support staff to ensure a seamless patient journey from diagnosis through survivorshipSupport StaffDedicated oncology RNsNurse navigatorsSocial workersPharmacy liaison for oral medicationsResearch coordinatorsGenetic counselors24/7 anesthesia coveragePatient Volume1318 patients per dayReason for CoveragePhysicians leaving to start their own practiceCandidate Requirements (Required)Board Certified in Medical OncologyBoard Certified in HematologyCompletion of an accredited post-graduate training programActive California licenseBLS & DEAClean malpractice and background historyWhy RecruitWell?Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position?
