As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a key technical resource responsible for keeping production, packaging, refrigeration, and utility systems running safely and efficiently. You will support continuous operations by troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining aging equipment, and performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. This is a hands‑on maintenance environment with a mix of older and newer equipment, requiring strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical versatility. Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment, including fry cutters, blanchers, dryers, fryers, freezers, conveyors, and packaging systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Diagnose and repair older, legacy equipment as well as newer production systems. Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize downtime and production loss. Maintain and repair ammonia or mechanical refrigeration systems, as applicable. Conduct routine inspections to identify mechanical issues and safety hazards. Follow and support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, and plant safety procedures. Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs accurately. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and plant improvement projects. Support sanitation and food safety efforts by maintaining equipment in sanitary condition. Work closely with production, quality, and sanitation teams to resolve equipment‑related issues. Participate in USDA, FDA, OSHA, and customer audits as needed. Maintain spare parts inventory and recommend replacement or upgrades. Follow all GMP, food safety, and workplace safety policies. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical school or trade certification preferred. 2+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing or industrial environments preferred. Strong experience troubleshooting mechanical systems and older equipment. Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Basic PLC troubleshooting experience preferred. Refrigeration experience (ammonia or mechanical) preferred. Seniority level:
