Patient Service Representative (PSR) Urogynecology - MaineHealth Scarborough, Maine | Per Diem MaineHealth is seeking a
Patient Service Representative (PSR)
to join our Urogynecology practice located at
300 Professional Drive in Scarborough, Maine . This role is an essential part of the patient experience, supporting both our care team and the patients we serve through compassionate, efficient front‑office operations.
The Patient Service Representative greets patients, answers telephones, schedules appointments, and performs a variety of general office and administrative duties as assigned. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive, welcoming environment for patients.
About the Practice We are a team of caring, highly engaged professionals dedicated to improving urogynecologic care for patients across Maine. Our practice has recently moved into a
beautiful new space , conveniently located just off
Route 1 in Scarborough . We value collaboration, excellent patient care, and work‑life balance.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in person and by phone
Answer and triage incoming telephone calls
Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars
Perform general office and administrative duties as assigned
Support clinic operations to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience
Schedule & Flexibility
Operating hours: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Per diem position with flexibility in scheduling
Seeking candidates who can
consistently work at least two days per week
Remote work flexibility may be available
after at least six months , depending on the candidate's readiness and performance
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications: N/A
Experience: Previous office experience with medical office experience preferred.
Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
