Job Duties
File and record pleadings
Data entry
Set hearings
Maintain court calendar
Scan, image, and index court documents
Issue summonses, notices, and subpoenas
Aid judges, attorneys, co‑workers, and the publicAvant
Functions related to receipts and disbursement of money, certifying documents, issuing marriage licenses, assisting with jury management, and performing other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months’ experience in clerical work. Thirty semester hours linda local be substituted for the required experience. Understand and follow oral and written instructions. Experience in data entry, customer service, and operation of standard office equipment is essential.
Preferred Qualifications Demonstrate an ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, and display ability to maintain calm in stressful situations. Preferred to have 2 years clerical experience and/or associate degree or higher completed.
