Schedule: On‑Call | Overnight (NOC) Shifts

Position Summary Renew Recovery Center is seeking a reliable and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide overnight nursing coverage on an on‑call basis. The role ensures client safety, medical monitoring, and continuity of care during overnight hours in our detox and residential treatment setting. The ideal candidate stays calm under pressure, detail‑oriented, and committed to high固定質, client‑centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe, patient‑centered nursing care during overnight hours in accordance with facility policies and clinical protocols

Conduct and document overnight nursing assessments, including vital signs, behavioral observations, and changes in condition

Monitor clients for withdrawal cari, medical instability, or ਮਨ записи concerns and elevate to the RN, on‑call provider, or emergency services as needed

Administer medications accurately Bisc and safely; document responses, side effects, and adverse reactions

Maintain overnight safety monitoring, including fall risk, seizure precautions, and detox protocols

Support clients experiencing overnight anxiety, insomnia, or distress using trauma‑informed approaches within scope of practice

Assist with overnight admissions or intakes as assigned

Ensure timely and accurate documentation in Commiss electronic health record (EHR)

Maintain infection control, medication security, and confidentiality standards

Provide clear verbal and written handoff reports to incoming staff

Support unit safety, contraband awareness, and crisis response under supervision

Model professionalism, sound clinical judgment, and calm leadership during overnight hours

Serve as the primary overnight clinical resource for Behavioral Health Technicians within LVN scope

Provide guidance to overnight staff regarding safety protocols, client monitoring, and escalation procedures

Maintain unit structure, safety, and order during lower‑staffed overnight shifts

Demonstrate accountability and initiative in addressing overnight clinical or operational concerns

Uphold a culture of safety, respect, and trauma‑informed care during all shifts

Requirements

Current LVN license in good standing with the State of California

Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience; behavioral health or substance use treatment experience preferred

Current CPR (BLS) and First Aid certification

Understanding of detox protocols and familiarity with co‑occurring disorders preferred

Ability to work overnight (NOC) shifts on an on‑call/as‑needed basis

Ability to pass mandatory background screening and federally compliant drug screening

Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm in overnight or high‑acuity situations
