Now hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) -- Caregivers in the Altoona and surrounding areas.

We are looking for caring, dependable, and motivated individuals to work as both Personal Care Assistant and Direct Support Professionals.
Pay & Benefits
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour as DSP supporting IDD; $14.00 per hour as PCA supporting elderly, physical disabilities, and veterans.
Flexible schedules with a variety of shifts and locations.
Paid initial and ongoing training in the classroom and online.
Coaching and mentoring to set you up for success.
Supervisors, schedulers, and trainers available 24/7.
Overtime pay, shift differentials, bonuses including longevity, perfect attendance, and more.
Mileage reimbursement.

What You’ll Do
Assist individuals with light housekeeping, meals, and personal care tasks.
Join clients on walks and community activities.
Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, or errands as needed.
Help empower people to live independently.
As a Direct Support Professional
Support IDD clients in reaching goals outlined in their Service Plan.
Facilitate community integration, social engagement, and skill-building activities.
Encourage independence, dignity, and choice in daily living.
Accompany clients to appointments when necessary.
Participate in team meetings to share insights about the client's progress.
Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment through light housekeeping tasks.
Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients.
Qualifications
At least 18 years old.
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
Must pass background checks and clearances.
Availability to work every other weekend, on holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation.
Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at CRI by 2x.
