ObGyn physician employment in South Carolina : Medical Center is seeking a Women's Health OBGYN--This role offers a balanced blend of outpatient practice and inpatient obstetrics, supported by a stable physician group, strong APP coverage, and leadership that prioritizes sustainability, teamwork, and physician wellbeing.--Established Womens Health program with strong community trust and referral volume--Collegial, team based culture where physicians support one another--Predictable clinic schedule with protected administrative time--Shared call model designed to support work life balance--Strong nursing and APP support across clinic and labor and delivery--Leadership that values long term retention, physician voice, and continuity of care--Primarily outpatient focused role with inpatient responsibilities for deliveries and gynecologic surgery--Standard clinic schedule (36 patient facing hours + 4 hours of admin time)--Shared call rotation among physicians, typically 1:7 to 1:8--Team Structure: 8 OBGYN physicians, 1 GYN APP, and 2 CNM--Dedicated nursing support--Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation + Ambient AI for charting--Prenatal care and deliveries, including vaginal and cesarean--Gynecologic surgeries including hysterectomies and laparoscopic procedures--Office based procedures such as IUD placement and colposcopy--Well woman care and complex gynecologic problem visits--Manages high risk pregnancies up to 32 weeks gestation--Level II nursery on site--L&D, postpartum, nursery, and C-section operating rooms are all located on the same floor--L&D is located across the hall from postpartum care--High risk transfers requiring advanced neonatal support are transferred to Level III NICU (1-2 hours by ground) or Level IV NICU (45 minutes by helicopter) using established protocols--$25k+ sign-on bonus--Competitive Compensation: Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) with additional WRVU bonuses--Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, & vision; supplemental insurance options (short/long-term disability, accidental, cancer, life); retirement plans with employer match.--Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for loan repayment assistance through the PSLF program, helping to manage and reduce student debt.--CME Allowances: 5 days off a year / $3k a year + cover costs of licenses, dues, etc.--Malpractice Insurance Coverage--Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling and ample paid time off to ensure a healthy work-life balance (24 Days PTO).
