7:00 AMPractice Setting & DutiesSetting: Hospital-basedDuties: Admissions and cross coverDaytime census: Up to 20 patientsAdmissions per night: 68Patients/day: 68 new encounters, with APP support as neededPatient population: Adult, non-ICU admissions with a variety of presentationsICU: Closed ICUCodes/Rapids: Critical care responds to codes; provider expected to attend rapids for their own patients (dedicated rapid response team in place)EMR: Epic (experience preferred)Reason for CoverageOngoing recruiting challengesCandidate RequirementsBoard Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
RequiredResidency trained in IM or FM
RequiredMinimum 3 years of Hospitalist experience
RequiredActive Tennessee & Georgia license
