In this position, you’ll have the opportunity toMilliseconds:
Lead cost improvement projects in quality and productivity. Prepare and implement capital improvement projects and actively participate in the development of lean processes. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for specific sets of processes (more than one) i.e. PUR, foam, roll forming, steel stamping, machining, etc. Development of standard work instructions for assigned processes Develop and facilitate process improvements for assigned processes Work with quality and production to identify gaps between current process and standardized work and develop corrective actions to resolve Develop production process goals designed to meet sales and budgeted targets Complete process improvement projects designed to meet or exceed sales and budget goals Identify and resolve process and quality problems for assigned processes Qualifications
Successful candidates will have: 5 or more years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Lean Manufacturing experience required Six Sigma Black Belt and / or Green Belt experience required Project Management Professional preferred GD&T, APQP, and Product Design / Launch experience preferred Experience in SMC processing from formulations of mix to finished product preferred Experience with compression molding preferred Experience adel steel stamping or processing preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Training experience: leading and facilitating Ability to work in a cross functional team environment Strong ability to drive change Additional Information
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $60,000 USD - $99,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
