Are you a compassionate Health Care Assistant looking to bring your skills into an Educational setting?
Remedy Education is currently recruiting a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a nurturing Secondary SEN school in Greenwich. If you have a background in healthcare or personal care and want to make a genuine difference in young lives, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities

Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that supports emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
Use visual aids and communication tools (such as PECS or Makaton) to enhance understanding and interaction.
Requirements
Experience working as a Health Care Assistant or in a care-based role, preferably with children or individuals with additional needs.
Understanding of SEN conditions, including ASD, ADHD, PMLD, and sensory impairments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathetic, patient, and flexible approach to supporting diverse learners.
Willingness to undertake personal care responsibilities.
Must hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
A CV covering the last 10 years with no unexplained gaps.
