**PLEASE CLICK THE FOLLOWING LINK TO BE TAKEN TO THE INTERNAL CAREER SITE:****Position Summary:**This position is responsible for cleaning all items and surfaces in assigned areas and ensuring they meet Mohegan Sun’s standards of cleanliness.**Primary Duties and Responsibilities****:** includes but not limited to:* Monitors and maintains the cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas* Cleans floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming using the proper chemicals, tools and equipment* Services, cleans and supplies restrooms* Empties trash containers, ashtrays and ash urns* Polishes brass surfaces* Ensures the safety of assigned keys**Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:*** Reports any damages to furniture, fixtures or equipment to the supervisor, as needed* Carries and maintains proper cleaning supplies for assigned tasks**Minimum Education and Qualifications:*** Previous cleaning experience or ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies* Must be able to communicate effectively with patrons and supervisors**Competencies:** Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:* Good verbal communication skills* Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques* Performs job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy**Training Requirements:*** Completes EVS Training Module which includes the proper use of chemicals and safety procedures* Knowledge of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment and their proper use* Biohazard clean-up procedures* Knowledge of proper infection control and blood borne pathogens procedures and precautions**Physical Demands and Work Environment:*** Must be able to work in a casino environment with smoke, loud noises and low lighting* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.* Must be able to stand, bend and walk large areas of the casino property for extended periods of time* Must be able to work various shift and flexible hoursThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.
