Reporting To: General Manager | Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time | Salary: $23.00 -$25.00/Hourly DOE

Position Purpose The Activities Director coordinates events, volunteers, and communications to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Respond daily to phone calls, emails, and correspondence from homeowners and board members.
Schedule, plan, and organize activities and events; serve as liaison for committees.
Manage lodge scheduling of all events and activities using Google, website, and Outlook calendars.
Design and implement all lodge event materials (website, fliers, tickets, programs, sign‑up sheets).
Oversee posting of all event media at the lodge and on the JCA website.
Organize and distribute biweekly email blast to JCA membership.
Supervise review of monthly Connection Magazine proof and calendar; collaborate with volunteers.
Engage and manage event vendors and service providers as point of contact.
Coordinate all room set‑up/breakdown, sounds & lighting; coordinate janitorial services with Maintenance & Lodge Manager.
Train and supervise volunteers when appropriate.
Direct communication and training with support staff on JCA, CGA, and committee event and process logistics.
Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and reimbursement processes; coordinate with JCA staff.
Manage creation and maintenance of stand‑alone JCA yearly events calendar.
Maintain allocated JCA events budget and attend events as needed.
Provide administrative and event support to the committees; schedule and attend meetings.
Work with committees to maintain charter goals and support initiatives.
Coordinate with committee treasurers for budget preparation; allocate and manage event funds.
Participate in post‑event evaluation process.
Manage CGAs process and procedures; assist with formation of new CGAs; schedule lodge space and coordinate calendar timelines.
Maintain CGA contact lists and lodge use agreements.
Qualifications
High School Diploma (or equivalent); Associate’s Degree preferred.
1-4 years of event and communications support experience.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Conflict resolution skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
Team player committed to delivering high‑level customer service.
Adaptable, dependable, solid attendance record.
Professional and respectful demeanor with staff and guests.
Special Position Requirements
Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and clean driving record in compliance with Company policy.
Essential Functions
Use standard office equipment (computer, phone, copier/scanner).
Be stationary or in motion for periods; relocate up to 40 pounds.
Schedule & Travel Shifts vary based on business need and event variability. Requires work weekends and holidays.
