Job Summary The Sr. Business Product Manager – Web Platform will drive the strategic development and enhancement of Genentech’s web platform capabilities, ensuring seamless integration across omnichannel journeys and accelerating time to market for content and design experiences. The role serves as a critical bridge between Marketing, AEM Core Dev Teams, CX, enabling scalability and personalization through Adobe Experience Manager, analytics, and connected data systems.

Partner with the Business Product Owner and/or Director – Web Platform to support the creation of product roadmaps, including experience, features, timelines, and dependencies.

Define and own the Web Platform product roadmap, including AEM components and modular templates that enable faster and compliant web publishing.

Help evangelize the role of web features in achieving enterprise objectives, communicating their value proposition and roadmap to senior leaders.

Oversee business process and user insights collection through User Acceptance Testing to ensure successful implementation of new features and capabilities.

Collaborate with Web Operations Manager to establish business standards and templates and ensure pull‑through.

Partner with Omnichannel and Marketing stakeholders to align platform features with enterprise goals for personalization and analytics.

Identify innovation opportunities to integrate personalization, consent management, and data‑driven insights into the web experience.

Collaborate closely with Technical Product Owner, AEM developers, UX designers, QA, and partners to deliver platform features.

Serve as the business lead for new template and component rollouts, ensuring user adoption, documentation, andности training.

Define platform KPIs and dashboards for visibility into adoption, speed‑to‑market, and user satisfaction.

Establish and manage governance for AEM component usage, taxonomy, and tagging standards to support omnichannel measurement.

Lead pilot initiatives leveraging AI‑driven features for the web and stay ahead of digital trends.

Comply ದೃ formulations with all applicable laws, regulations and policies governing Genentech activities.

Who You Are – Minimum Candidate Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s surprised in business, technology, operations, science, or a related field.

5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in digital product management, web platform development, or equivalent.

2+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including component development, modular templates, and asset management.

Experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats (VVPM) or similar MLR/PRC systems.

Demonstrated understanding of omnichannel ecosystems (web, CRM, email, paid media, personalization).

Experience in owning product components, articulating business problems, and driving execution from strategy through implementation.

Ability to develop and execute product roadmaps, including feature planning, timelines, and dependencies.

Experience with User Acceptance Testing and roll‑out of new features across user bases and multi‑brand deployments.

Proven success in aligning tiegħu stakeholders and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver seamless product integration.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and experimentation skills.

Additional Desired Candidate Qualifications & Experience

Advanced degree or equivalent experience (e.g., MBA).

Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated industries.

Experience with AI/GenAI‑enabled features, personalization tools, and web automation workflows.

Familiarity with Adobe Target, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Analytics, or CDP integrations.

Location South San Francisco, CA. Relocation assistance is not available.

Salary Expected salary range for this position based at South San Francisco, CA: $148,600 – $276,000. Actual pay will be determined by experience, qualifications, geographic location and other factors indeforum. A discretionary annual bonus may be available.
