Library Assistant The AMDA-NY Library is looking for students to join our teamand help support the entire AMDA community. Library studentworkers play a vital role in the library’s many services and serveas a first point of contact for library users.

Open to all semesters. Primary Responsibilities:

Ensure patrons follow library policies and procedures

Answering questions via email, phone, and in-person

Checking materials in and out

Helping patrons search for, find, and locate library materials

Reshelving books, music scores, plays, and DVDs

Teaching community members how to use the digital scanner and printers/copiers

Keeping the library neat and organized

Qualifications:

Good academic standing

Strong customer service skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work as part of a team

Good computer and technology skills

Position Information:

The pay range for this position is $17 an hour
