The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with students nationwide for online AP European History tutoring. You’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a meaningful impact on students’ learning—all from the comfort of your home.
Pay and Schedule Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $40.00/hr. You can earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—reaching up to $40/hour. You may be paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
Responsibilities
Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
Handle logistics by invoicing for tutoring sessions while the platform manages payments.
What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
Expertise in AP European History with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
Preference given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
