A large healthcare system in Washington, D.C., is seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist to join its growing radiology team, which supports emergency departments across the region. This position is 100% remote and offers evening or overnight shift options, providing flexibility while delivering high-acuity emergency imaging services for a leading academic health system.
Position Details The Emergency Radiologist will provide timely, high-quality diagnostic imaging interpretation for emergency and trauma patients, collaborating closely with emergency medicine physicians, surgeons, and other clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret a broad range of emergency imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and plain films
Provide rapid, accurate reads to support trauma and acute care decision-making
Communicate critical findings directly to emergency and consulting clinicians
Contribute to quality improvement, peer review, and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR)
Emergency Radiology fellowship training is preferred but not required
Eligibility for medical licensure in Washington, DC
