Overview We are seeking adjunct faculty to serve as

DBA Dissertation Committee Chairs and Dissertation Committee Members . This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative doctoral scholarship, mentor exceptional learners, and help shape the strategic direction of graduate business education within a thriving academic community.

The Dissertation Committee guides doctoral students, acting as mentors, quality control, and examiners to ensure the dissertation meets high academic standards, offers original research, and is defended successfully. They provide expertise, feedback on drafts, and assess the candidate’s ability to conduct independent research, shape research design, refine methodology, ensure ethical conduct, and ultimately decide if the work warrants a PhD.

Responsibilities As Dissertation Committee Chair, you will serve as the student’s primary academic mentor and the institution’s principal steward of dissertation quality. You will provide comprehensive guidance throughout all phases of the dissertation, fostering student progress while ensuring scholarly rigor and academic standards are upheld.

Qualifications Required qualifications for this position include a Doctoral degree in business or a related field with a business major, minor, or concentration (for DBA PD and faculty).

In addition, you must have extensive research experience in business or a related field with qualitative or quantitative research methods and experience serving as Dissertation Committee Chair or Member at the doctoral level.
