Title: Network SME Engineer (CCIE Certified) Location: Hybrid — Alpharetta, GA or New York City, NY (3 days onsite, local candidates only) Duration: 6 Months Contract Onsite Interview Job Description The client is seeking a senior Network SME with an active CCIE Lab certification to design, troubleshoot, and support complex enterprise, data center, and cloud networks. The role demands deep hands‑on expertise in IPv4/IPv6, routing protocols, and migrations, with the ability to lead solution design and testing in a hybrid onsite environment.

MUST HOLD AN ACTIVE CCIE LAB CERTIFICATION (it will have numbers at the end if it is a true CCIE lab cert)

Must‑Have Hands‑On Skill Set (Technical & Functional / Experience Highlights)

Active CCIE Lab Certification (Mandatory — Routing & Switching or Service Provider)

10–12 years of senior network engineering experience

Strong expertise in Routing & Switching, IPv4 / IPv6

Deep hands‑on experience with BGP, OSPF, STP, Multicast

Experience with Cisco & Arista network platforms

Hands‑on with ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, Nexus 9K

Overlay technologies: IPSEC, DMVPN, VXLAN

Multicast protocols: IGMP v2/v3, PIM, RP Anycast

Knowledge of Cisco ISE, TACACS, DNS, DHCP

Cloud networking exposure

Ansible experience is a strong plus

Cabling & optics: 10G–100G
