SUMMARY
In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data migrated from legacy systems to modern platforms. You will validate migration processes, perform reconciliation, and support quality assurance activities to meet business and compliance requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Validation & Reconciliation:
Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple sources and target systems
Develop and maintain automated data validation frameworks using programming languages
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Create and execute test cases for data migration scenarios
Validate transformation logic and business rules applied during migration
Issue Identification & Resolution:
Document discrepancies and collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues
Track and report defects related to data migration
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure adherence to data governance and regulatory standards
Maintain detailed documentation of validation processes and results
Collaboration:
Partner with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to ensure successful migration
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
1-3 years of experience in data analysis or database management
Strong understanding of data migration processes, ETL concepts, and relational databases
Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Familiarity with data quality frameworks, governance principles, and version control systems (GitHub)
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines
Agile/SAFe certification or experience preferred
COMPENSATION The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
