Position Overview WTSP‑T, a TEGNA‑owned CBS affiliate in Tampa, is looking for an Account Executive to generate leads and act as a marketing consultant for clients in the Tampa market across all TEGNA marketing solutions from linear TV to digital, including OTT with PREMION.

Current driver’s license and ability to operate a news‑gathering vehicle to and from various locations is required.

What You Will Do

Consistently prospect for new revenue opportunities using client and category insights

Upsell current clients by engaging them in the full product line of WTSP‑T offerings

Create custom, solution‑driven campaigns that meet client needs across multiple media platforms including broadcast, digital, and streaming (OTT)

Seek opportunities to expand relationships with key clients by actively understanding their business needs and competitive landscape

Establish strong relationships with internal team members by providing the Account Management team with clear and concise쇄 direction for the successful execution of campaigns

Partner with your Account Manager to provide exceptional customer service and contract fulfillment

Strategically utilize Matrix and station CRM to manage day‑to‑day activity, pipeline, and forecasts

Positively and professionally represent the media group to the community at events and surrounding businesses

What You Need

1–3 years of account engagement in a professional, fast‑paced media sales environment

Proven track record of successfully achieving or exceeding sales goals and developing new business opportunities as a seller

Established knowledge of marketing solutions including broadcast and digital advertising (audio and interactive) and a perpetual learner eager to expand knowledge

Prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems, and ability to leverage technology to project‑manage workload and achieve goals

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to proactively communicate with clients, co‑workers, and vendors, and to write/edit compelling proposals

Creative mind to develop unique campaigns focused on solving client needs while working effectively as part of a team

Proven effective problem solver with ability to quickly adapt to changing and competing priorities while meeting deadlines

Strong business acumen with attention to detail and accuracy, and strong organization and time‑management skills

Self‑motivation and strong work ethic essential for success
