Dell Children’s Medical Group , the clinical partner of
Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin , in
Austin, Texas . This physician will specialize in diagnosing and treating infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions while contributing to advanced pediatric subspecialty care, education, and program development. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest or expertise in
pediatric hearing loss and cochlear implantation , with opportunities to participate in or lead the
Pediatric Cochlear Implant Clinic
and multidisciplinary hearing programs. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to children and families while helping children hear—and enjoy—the great sounds of Austin.
Diagnose and treat pediatric ear, nose, throat, airway, head, and neck conditions
Provide comprehensive surgical and non‑surgical ENT care tailored to pediatric patients
Participate in the
Pediatric Cochlear Implant Clinic , including evaluation, implantation, and longitudinal follow‑up
Collaborate with audiology, speech‑language pathology, and other pediatric subspecialties
Provide inpatient and outpatient care, including perioperative management
Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients
Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner
Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules
About Dell Children’s Medical Center Dell Children’s Medical Center (DCMC) is a 299‑bed free standing pediatric facility, Pediatric Level I Trauma Center, Level IV Epilepsy Center, Level IV NICU, Special Delivery Unit, Texas Center for Pediatric Congenital Heart Disease, and Inpatient Psychiatry Mental Health Unit. Our second location, DCMC North, opened in the spring of 2022 as a 36 bed hospital. DCMC is in the Ascension Healthcare Network, the nation's largest nonprofit health system.
