Trillium Construction is now seeking a Safety Manager in Kenosha, WI for a contract or contract-to-hire position! Work will last for a duration of 3‑5 years. Pay is $40‑50 DOE plus per diem. Candidates may begin work as soon as available.

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager/SSHO to oversee safety on an upcoming data center project. This role will serve as the primary onsite safety authority, ensuring compliance with OSHA, company policies, and industry best practices. The Safety Manager/SSHO will be responsible for identifying hazards, implementing corrective actions, and fostering a culture of safety among all personnel on site.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary safety authority onsite, directing and overseeing safety compliance for all subcontractors and field personnel.

Conduct daily site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to identify risks and implement mitigation measures.

Develop, implement, and enforce site‑specific safety programs, policies, and procedures.

Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near‑misses; determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

Provide safety training and toolbox talks to personnel to ensure adherence to OSHA and company standards.

Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and records for management and internal review.

Advise project leadership on safety strategies, risk mitigation, and best practices.

Intervene in unsafe conditions and stop work if necessary to prevent accidents or injuries.

Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement across all project teams.

Schedule & Travel

Full‑time onsite schedule Monday‑Friday.

Travel/per diem available as needed for the project.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction safety management, preferably in commercial, industrial, or electrical projects.

Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety regulations.

Professional certifications such as CHST, CSP, or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Experience conducting hazard analyses, safety audits, and incident investigations.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence subcontractors and team members.

Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare safety reports.

Available to work onsite full‑time with potential for per diem.
