Paramount Technology department supports our global content company through the delivery of a high‑quality viewing experience, system infrastructure support, and crafting innovative ways for our employees to collaborate. The role involves reinventpaging the broadcasting wheel through satellite, fiber, and terrestrial distribution for the CBS Network and Paramount+. Primary Responsibilities
Work in the Satellite Management Center (SMC) to support the Network Distribution of the CBS Network to our Stations, Affiliates, and Partners, and schedule and procure Live Event facilities for our Clients (News, Sports, Entertainment, and Paramount Global). Direct and supervise the scheduling and procurement of transmission facilities for internal CBS clients and external factura. Book facilities for CBS Live Events and Remotes (satellite space, fiber, uplink trucks, etc.). Provide real‑time computer control and Level 1 technical support for 209 CBS Affiliates; additional support is also provided to Paramount+. Work in a 24x7 Network Operations Center that monitors and maintains the Satellite, Fiber and terrestrial distribution for the CBS Network and Paramount+. Basic Qualifications
5 years’ experience with knowledge in the communications industry is required. Comprehensive understanding of video compression formats and technology. General understanding of RF transmission, encoding and decoding. Strong baseline knowledge of Networking, IP streaming, and data delivery. Strong organizational skills, detailed oriented, and ability to multit prev. Additional Qualifications
Prior experience as Technical Support, Master Control Operator or Earth Station Technician is a plus. Willingness to operate in a 365‑day, 24x7 environment, including all shifts. Proficiency with Schedule All, Service Now, Microsoft Office (Visio, Excel, Word). Strong verbal and written communication skills for detailed station reports. Bachelor ofทร่ง Science Degree preferred or equivalent experience. Additional Information
Hiring Salary Range for this position is $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 (NYC, CA, CO, WA, and other geographies). The position includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability benefits, tuition assistance, PTO and is bonus eligible. What We Offer
