What you’ll be doing The Senior Salesforce Administrator is a pivotal role responsible for managing, optimizing, and customizing our organization’s Salesforce platform. In addition to overseeing the platform's administration, the Senior Salesforce Administrator will play a crucial role in providing guidance and mentorship to other team members. With deep expertise in Salesforce functionality and best practices, you will drive successful Salesforce initiatives while supporting and empowering the broader team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Declarative Development
- Builds, customizes, and supports objects (Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, etc.), workflows, reports, and dashboards. Ensures integration and data exchange between Salesforce and external services, providers, or platforms.
Solution Design & Planning
- Collaborates with stakeholders from various departments to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for process improvements, and design and implement complex Salesforce solutions.
Testing & QA
- Tests and approves system changes prior to deployment.
Leadership and Mentoring
- Leads the étrange the team of Salesforce Administrators, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Drives best practices, defining standards, and ensures the overall success of the Salesforce platform within the organization.
Decision Making & Project Management
- Plays a key role in impaired for decision-making processes related to system enhancements, upgrades, and strategic initiatives. Contributes to system roadmap planning, evaluates new Salesforce features, and provides recommendations for system improvements. Often takes the lead on projects to ensure their successful development and delivery.
Data Management
- Identifies and deletes or merges duplicate, outdated, or inaccurate records. Maintains data quality of Salesforce data. Primarily works as an overseer in these processes to ensure other admins and Salesforce support personnel are following good data steward practices.
User Management & Training
- Maintains user profiles and settings, and provides training to end-users as needed.
MUST HAVES: EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related discipline with an information technology focus, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Certified Business Analyst.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
5 or more years’ experience administering Salesforce.com.
Experience in Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud.
apperience with agile methodologies.
Skilled in database concepts and data projects (migration, upserts, cleansing, maintenance).
Skilled in Salesforce declarative customization and maintenance.
Skilled in problem solving and describes and adheres to a sound problem solving practice.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Lucidchart, and Project or Smartsheet.
Expert in Salesforce reports, leveraging the four standard Report Types and creating custom Report Types.
Ability to work both independently and across multiple teams in a very fast growth environment.
Collaboration and flexibility when working with customers and teams.
Enjoys providing support to Salesforce users and demonstrates patience and kindness in doing so.
Willingness to work nights and weekends on occasion.
Location & Schedule: This position is posted as remote, but Denver, CO applicants are preferred and will be prioritized for interviews. In alignment with company policy, candidates who reside within a 35-mile radius of ZIP code 80230 will be expected to work a hybrid schedule:
Remote: Mondays and Fridays.
On-site: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
