General Summary: Join Qualcomm Customer Engineering team and work with world leading WoS (Windows on Snapdragon)/Chrome compute device makers from design & develop to commercially launch exciting or new Qualcomm compute SoC products.

Expected to:

Understand every aspect of customers' requirements and designs

Communicate with internal product & development teams on any HW/SW design related issues/features from customer designs

Work with customers in resolving any feature development and product commercialization issues

Responsibilities:

Triage, analyze and system debug on customer boards, including customer integration and development

Assist customer with software feature design

Provide response to customer design/technical questions, work closely with internal developers

Communicate customer status and issues with key internal stake holders

Skill/Experiences:

8+ years’ experience, proficiency in C/C++ Programming and debugging

Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience, preferably in Windows Env

Experience with Programming Language such as C, Embedded C, C++, Python, Data Structures and Algorithm

Knowledge of Embedded Systems, RTOS, Micro-processors and controllers, embedded design and architecture

Software design/debugging techniques, problem solving, and documentation skills

Experience with Qualcomm chipset software and firmware development, BOOT architecture, UEFI working knowledge, Boot loader sequence, Board Bring-Up

Experience with Qualcomm chipset software and firmware development, ARM trustzone and Tree (TRUSTED EXECUTION ENVIRONMENT)

Experience with TPM (trusted platform module), UEFI secure boot, platform secure boot, Windows Pluton, Windows secured-core, Windows Hello Enhanced Sign-in Security, Windows bitlocker, Trustzone application development and debugging, NIST resilience 800-193, content protection such as OPM and HDCP, ACPI and trustzone application communication

Experience with JTAG debugging and Windbg debugger

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience

2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

1+ year of experience with debugging techniques

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $145,000.00 - $217,600.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
