A leading national insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced
Account Manager – Bonds/Surety
to support a high-performing surety practice and a group of respected producers. This role is ideal for a detail-driven surety professional who can independently manage complex bondactivity and deliver exceptional client service.
What You'll Do
Manage an assigned book of surety business, supporting retention and new business
Handle bid bonds, renewals, riders, cancellations, and bond changes end to end
Prepare submissions, coordinate underwriting, and negotiate terms with carriers
Review financial documentation and bonding requirements
Maintain agency management systems with a strong focus on accuracy and E&O prevention
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, producers, and underwriters
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of hands‑on surety / bond experience
Strong knowledge of bid, performance, payment, and related bonds
Active insurance license in resident state (required)
Proven ability to manage high volumes with precision
Confident communicator with clients, producers, and underwriters
Proficient in MS Office and agency management systems
Work Model & Compensation
Hybrid preferred (2–3 days in office where applicable); remote considered for strong candidates
Salary range:
$75,000–$85,000 base + annual bonus
