Daifuku . The Passenger Boarding Bridge Technician (PBB) is responsible for the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of passenger boarding bridges and related systems, including 400 Hz ground power, three-phase motor control systems, cabin air conditioning (PCA units), electronics, PLCs, VFDs, portable water cabinets, and related electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components. The role includes inspections, component checks, and mentoring and guiding other employees as needed. Responsibilities

Complete basic maintenance assignments, including preventive and routine maintenance, corrective maintenance and emergency repairs, calibrations, shift inspections, audits, cleaning, and other tasks as requested by the customer site and corporate management. Perform various electrical repairs and maintenance, documenting work completed. Use computer tools including email, Microsoft Word and Excel, and CMMS workorder systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools and meters for troubleshooting and repair of boarding bridges, PCAs, GPUs, PWCs, and other ground support equipment. Diagnose abnormalities in parts, equipment, controls, gears, bearings, and related systems. Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics related to boarding bridges. Understand PLC controls and hydraulic systems for electro-mechanical troubleshooting. Assist with HVAC system controls and air handling units; understand refrigeration controls and power generation electronics. Take direction from senior personnel; participate in training and mentoring as assigned. Provide guidance to team members, may act as lead in the absence of Sr. Technicians or supervisors. Work in tight or high spaces using appropriate PPE and fall protection. Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety policies and procedures. Complete all required training courses and maintain necessary certifications and licenses. Complete required forms and reports according to established procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications

High School graduate or GED. Minimum 2 years of electro-mechanical experience. Troubleshooting skills for electro-mechanical equipment and systems. Ability to work non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, hydraulic diagrams and engineering drawings. Basic knowledge of industrial concepts, practices, and procedures; PLC and motor controls knowledge is preferred. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in an airport environment. Experience with conveyors or passenger boarding bridges. 3+ years of industrial mechanical and/or electrical background. 3+ years of PLC logic experience. EPA Universal certification and/or 3+ years HVAC experience. 3+ years of electrical troubleshooting experience. Advanced computer skills. Additional Skills and Knowledge

Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing; able to work with diverse teams. Ability to work under time constraints and maintain safety at all times. Ability to obtain necessary resources and maintain safety conditions in the workplace. Computer Skills

Basic computer knowledge at an intermediate level in Windows including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Other Requirements

Must read, write, speak and understand English. Must obtain and maintain an Airport Security badge. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Company’s policy.
