Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (mills and lathes) to manufacture precision components.

Create, review, and edit programs as needed to meet engineering specifications.

Load materials, secure workpieces, and select appropriate tooling.

Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality.

Conduct detailed inspections of machined parts using various measuring tools.

Verify CNC machined parts and Puppeteers? inspect tool geometry to confirm conformance to design specifications.

Occasionally operate manual surface grinder and Bridgeport.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Previous CNC experience (mills, lathes or grinders).

3+ years of CNC experience preferred (mills, lathes or grinders).

Programming experience with CAD/CAM programming systems; SolidWorks, G&M Code helpful.

Shop math skills (standard & metric).

Ability to read blueprints and apply technical precision.

Experience using precision gauges and inspection equipment.
