Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to support 1st shift manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision parts. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of machining processes, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce parts to specification
Load programs, adjust offsets, and monitor machine performance during production
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Measure parts using precision inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Perform basic machine troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures
Document production results and report issues to supervisors
Requirements
Previous experience operating CNC milling machines
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Proficiency with measuring and inspection tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently on 1st shift in a production environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
Experience with Haas, Mazak, Fanuc, or similar CNC controls
Basic CNC programming or editing experience
Experience in machining steel, aluminum, or other metals
