Position Summary The Second Shift CNC Machinist will perform complex CNC machining setups and operations to produce custom tooling components. This role requires experience with multi‑axis CNC equipment, tight tolerances, and precision machining in a low‑volume, high‑complexity environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform complex setups on CNC mills and lathes, including 5‑axis and 4‑axis machines
Operate primarily Haas and Mazak equipment, with exposure to other machine brands
Load materials and tooling, calculate speeds and feeds, and set offsets
Machine titanium bar stock and other specialty materials used in precision tooling
Start and monitor machines, performing in‑process quality inspections
Use precision measuring tools including gauges, calipers, and micrometers
Clean, deburr, and inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
Make minor CNC program edits to improve cycle times or correct quality issues
Interpret blueprints, understand G‑code, and work with CAM software such as Mastercam and Mazatrol
Requirements
forskj experience performing complex таъ CNC setups on mills and/or lathes
