Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Practice Assistant (Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist) located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Practice Assistant will perform a variety of tasks, including phlebotomy, assisting medical staff with patient care, handling medical records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the medical office. Responsibilities also include preparing patients for procedures, managing appointments, maintaining medical terminology accuracy, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications
Certification in Medical Assisting or Phlebotomy is required, and experience in these areas preferred
Proficiency in Medical Assisting and knowledge of Medical Terminology
Experience with Medical Office operations and managing Medical Records
Strong Patient Care skills, demonstrating empathy and attention to patient needs
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a medical team environment
Familiarity with fertility care is an advantage but not required
English fluency required
Spanish preferred, not required
