We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Periodontist Associate to join our growing dental team in a private practice setting. We see 250–300 new patients per month and care for over 15,000 active patients—while remaining proudly non-corporate and non-DSO. We simply know how to market and deliver exceptional care.
Our practice offers a collaborative, patient-focused environment where quality, efficiency, and long-term outcomes are the priority. We provide a flexible schedule, ideal for specialists working across multiple locations. We currently operate 4 offices: 2 in Laurel, 1 in Bowie, and 1 in Bethesda.If you are passionate about periodontics and implant dentistry and want to work with a team that values professional growth, autonomy, and work-life balance, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform a full scope of periodontal procedures including scaling and root planing, periodontal surgery, osseous surgery, and gingival grafting.
2. Place dental implants, including bone grafting, ridge augmentation, sinus lifts, soft tissue management, PRF, and tissue biopsies.
3. Provide comprehensive periodontal evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term maintenance care
4. Collaborate closely with general dentists and other specialists within the company to ensure continuity and quality of care.
5. Conduct patient consultations and post-operative follow-ups with an emphasis on education and patient comfort.
6. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and treatment documentation.
Qualifications:
1. DDS/DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
2. Completed a Periodontology residency program.
3. Board Certified or Board Eligible Periodontist.
4. Licensed to practice as a Periodontist in Maryland.
5. Active DEA and CDS in Maryland.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centric approach.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
