Office Services Associate San Diego, CA (onsite) 4+ Month Contract (temp to hire) The Office Services Associate will be responsible for handling copy and print requests, document scanning, shipping and receiving, and general office support in a legal office setting. The role involves standing, walking, and light lifting throughout the day and occasionally working under tight deadlines. Candidates with prior legal environment experience are preferred. Key Responsibilities: Process copy requests, including operation of high-volume copiers and binding equipment Scan documents and prepare paper deliveries to convenience copiers Perform quality checks (QC) on outgoing overnight packages to ensure accuracy and proper labeling Operate commercial drill and binding equipment for document preparation ssist with light lifting and moving materials using carts and dollies Manage incoming and outgoing shipments; verify packing slips and prepare materials for delivery Follow shipping and receiving procedures accurately Maintain and troubleshoot office equipment as needed Read and comprehend technical manuals and related documentation Deliver and sort mail according to established procedures Ensure high standards of customer service with internal and external stakeholders Work independently to complete tasks while being flexible to changing priorities Requirements: High school diploma or GED required 1-2 years of related work experience; prior experience in copy/print services preferred Experience in a legal office environment strongly preferred Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite Working knowledge of copier equipment and basic repair Understanding of shipping/receiving procedures Basic electronics knowledge is a plus Strong verbal communication and customer service skills bility to stand, walk, and perform light lifting throughout the day Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
