Baptist Health Oncology/Hematology Pharmacy

Assists pharmacist in filling and preparation of medication orders. Performs hazardous and non-hazardous IV compounding with a high degree of accuracy. Functions as purchasing agent for medications and supplies. Responsible for acquisition, preparation, and disposal of high risk hazardous materials. Responsible for compliance with EPA regulations pertaining to handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Requirements: Nationally certified within 6 months of hire. Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY hospitals) within 30 days of hire date if you are a new registrant. If previously registered you must have registration upon hire. Indiana Pharmacy Technician Certificate of Pharmacy Technician in Training (IN hospitals) or registration with Indiana Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire date if you are a new registrant. If previously registered, you must have registration upon hire.
