*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.
*Duties*
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during procedures
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery to prevent infections
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with patient care as needed
- Handle medical records and assist with data collection during procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
*Skills*
- Proficient in patient care techniques
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Experience in PICU, critical care, and ICU settings is advantageous
- Ability to monitor vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with medical-surgical procedures and protocols
- Skilled in medical records management and data collection
