
The National Quality Control Specialist plays a critical role in Opteon Appraisal customer experience by executing a defined review process for each appraisal product in accordance with Opteon Appraisal quality requirements along with client specific requirements within industry standards. The National Quality Control Specialist will work as a liaison between clients and staff appraisers to facilitate report revisions. The position is both client and appraiser facing, and therefore organizational and communication skills are a must.

The National Quality Control Specialist’s functional responsibilities include:
Review appraisal products to verify compliance with Opteon Appraisal and client specific requirements. Review client guidelines and ensure appraisals meet guidelines during review process. Meet daily production expectations for work completed, including initial reviews, resubmissions, reconsiderations of value and corrections. Work in conjunction with other Quality Control Specialists to maintain department workflow. Work in conjunction with Regional Managers to ensure quality standards are being met. Work with Opteon Staff appraisers to answer questions, develop reports, maintain quality standards, and adhere to client requirements. Demonstrate in-depth experience conducting reviews at a national level, using national standards, guidelines, and best practices relevant to Opteon. Work professionally using strong, detailed, and respectful communication to understand and meet the needs of clients, staff appraisers, and your team. Use Excellent Analytic and problem-solving skills. Respond to client and appraiser inquiries timely and efficiently; including challenging client and staff appraiser requests through positive and effective approaches. Develop lasting relationships with clients and staff appraisers. Organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology for clear and concise communications. Perform Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, Internet based client platforms, etc. Manage risk by ensuring no information, documentation, or commentary is used in causing compliance violation. Develop a working knowledge of the Staff Appraiser Playbook and apply those standards where applicable to the scope of the position.
