RN-Clinical Supervisor
Directs and supervises functions and activities in the hospital; implements and interprets policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff and the public. Performs duties in any nursing capacity as needed.
Evaluates patient care/personnel performance and reports information.
Coordinates unit staffing for designated shift.
Provides support to nursing departments.
Assumes responsibility as administrative representative when necessary.
Obtains adequate supplies and personnel to provide patient care services.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of patients served
Bachelor’s degree. Valid Alabama RN license.
Minimum 3 years of clinical and patient care experience in an acute care hospital and two years of supervisory and/or management experience preferred.
Current Alabama RN license. Current BLS certification or training available upon hire.
