
Location:
Alpharetta, GA - In Office (4 days/week) + 1 Remote Day after 60–90-day review
Support attorneys and paralegals with non-billable case tasks
Draft and prepare legal documents and case materials
Complete and manage e-filings in Georgia state courts and federal court systems
Handle high-volume non-party Requests for Production of Records (approximately 40–200 weekly)
Manage FedEx and certified mailings
Enter and update case information for paralegal review
Assist with miscellaneous administrative and legal support tasks as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
Strongly preferred: Insurance defense experience within trucking/transportation litigation
Minimum requirements: 1–2 years of legal assistant experience with trucking/insurance defense exposure preferred OR 3+ years of experience in workers’ compensation, personal injury, or related legal fields
High School Diploma required
Additional legal education or training is a plus but not required
Experience with legal document management systems preferred (MetaDocuments, Oryan)
Comfort working with court e-filing systems (Georgia & Federal)
Has hands-on insurance defense experience, preferably in trucking litigation
Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-moving environment
Detail-oriented and organized
Strong document drafting and filing experience
