Our office is a growing, multi-specialty practice serving the Texas Hill Country with a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to specialty dentistry. We are excited to expand our specialty team and are seeking a skilled, compassionate Oral Surgeon to join our collaborative practice.
This opportunity offers flexibility for both *part-time* or *full-time* interest, depending on availability and practice fit, within a well-established referral-driven environment supported by modern technology and an experienced clinical team.
Schedule Options
* *Part-Time (Preferred):*
* Ideally, Wednesdays and Fridays at our primary Hill Country Dental Specialists location
* *Full-Time (Optional):*
* Flexibility for additional days and expanded schedule at our secondary location in Floresville, TX 78114
*About the Role*
As an Oral Surgeon with our office, you will collaborate closely with our in-house specialists and referring general dentists to deliver high-quality surgical care while maintaining an exceptional patient experience.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop appropriate surgical treatment plans
* Collaborate with restorative dentists and specialty providers to ensure coordinated care
* Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures with a focus on clinical excellence and patient safety
* Administer local and general anesthesia as clinically indicated
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
* Prescribe medications for post-operative healing and pain management
* Educate and support patients throughout treatment and recovery
* Uphold best practices in patient communication, infection control, and clinical standards
*Qualifications*
* DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program
* Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency
* Active (or eligible) state dental license
* Excellent bedside manner with the ability to build patient trust
* Collaborative, team-oriented approach to specialty care
