*What You Will Do*
As the Center Director, you will act as the chief administrator responsible for the total operation of our center. Your key areas of impact will include:
* Educational Leadership & Quality: Lead the implementation of high-quality early childhood programs that meet developmental goals and Nebraska Child Care Licensing standards. You will conduct regular classroom walkthroughs, oversee curriculum, and provide ongoing, weekly coaching to our Infant, Toddler, PreK, and School-age teachers. You will also manage relationships with external coaches from Sixpence, Rooted in Relationship, and Step Up to Quality.
* Financial Operations: Oversee the center’s financial health, including leading the annual budget process, managing payroll and taxes, and maintaining accurate ledgers using QuickBooks and ProCare. You will manage tuition payments, analyze classroom profit/loss reports, and ensure all financial and nonprofit regulations are met.
* Fundraising & Grant Management: Drive our mission forward by developing diversified revenue streams. You will manage major grant relationships, lead year-end fundraising appeals, and help donors utilize state income tax credit programs. You will have the support of a very active board of directors to help meet fundraising goals.
* Staff & Board Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations, including staff coordination, scheduling, hiring, and team-building. You will build a strong relationship with our Board of Directors, facilitate board meetings, prepare financial reports, and guide long-term strategic planning.
* Community Engagement & Compliance: Serve as the face of our center! Maintain communication with families, manage the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), update our website, and share our amazing center stories and activities on Facebook.

Pay: $45,696.70 - $55,032.58 per year
