*Duties*
* Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques.
* Provide a wide range of dental treatments such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
* Utilize dental fabrication tools and equipment to create crowns, bridges, dentures, and other prosthetic devices.
* Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with a focus on patient comfort and effective communication tailored to pediatrics.
* Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and proper record-keeping.
* Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient experience.
* Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and treatment options using clear communication of dental terminology.
* Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and infection control standards to provide the highest level of care.
*Qualifications*
* Valid state license to practice dentistry with eligibility for licensure as an Associate Dentist.
* Proven experience in dental office or clinic settings with proficiency in Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix software systems preferred.
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and infection control practices.
* Demonstrated ability in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate treatment plans effectively.
* Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards for maintaining medical records securely.
* Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, along with a commitment to providing compassionate care for children and adolescents.
* Ability to work efficiently within a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal patient outcomes.
