*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. *Responsibilities*

* Perform detailed eye examinations utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to assess visual acuity and ocular health.
* Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions, including refractive errors, ocular diseases, and vision impairments.
* Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, or other treatments tailored to individual patient needs.
* Maintain accurate and thorough medical records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. (Currently using Eyefinity EHR)
* Educate patients on eye health, proper contact lens care, and preventive measures to promote long-term ocular wellness.
* Collaborate with optical staff to recommend appropriate eyewear solutions and assist in sales when necessary.
* Follow aseptic techniques during examinations and procedures to ensure patient safety and prevent infections.
* Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and coding practices to deliver top-tier patient care.

*Experience*

* Valid licensure as an Optometrist with appropriate state licensing requirements fulfilled in CA. TLG preferred, as we are full scope.
* Proven experience in ophthalmology or optometry practice settings, demonstrating proficiency in comprehensive eye exams and medical eyecare.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy related to the eye and physiology essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
* Familiarity with medical records management systems such as EMR or EHR platforms.
* Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable to effectively address the unique needs of children’s vision care as we see patients from pediatrics to geriatrics.
* Excellent patient service skills combined with complete ability to meet patients' needs and individualize their care and prescriptions.
* Knowledge of medical coding procedures related to optometry services ensures accurate billing and insurance processing. Join us in delivering exceptional eye care that transforms lives! Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
