Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 4x9hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Apr 20, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with 5+ years of experience for a night shift position in an acute care hospital ultrasound department serving pediatric and adult high-acuity patients. Details Hospital-based ultrasound department with inpatient, outpatient, ED, and pediatric coverage Patient population includes pediatric and adult patients, often high acuity Average caseload of 1–2 patients per hour Uses GE Logiq 10 ultrasound equipment EMR: Epic 9-hour night shifts, Monday–Thursday 10:00 PM–7:00 AM, 36 hours per week Weekend rotation based on departmental needs No on-call requirement No major holiday coverage required Schedule cycles every 2 weeks Potential to float to inpatient, outpatient, ED, or pediatrics depending on shift needs Requirements Minimum of 5 years of ultrasound experience Current BLS certification required ARDMS - Abdominal (ARDMS-AB) certification required Active state license required if applicable Epic EMR experience Ability to push and pull equipment Strong communication and time management skills Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Must provide the last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth for consideration Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Radiologists are on site to support the department Orientation includes a general facility NEO session followed by 2 days of departmental orientation RTO requests require Resource Team approval Black scrubs required Free parking is available on site Candidates who have previously worked a permanent position at an AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible American Traveler Job ID #P-688139.
