Forward Deployed Engineer

Venture backed defense tech firm, in the threat detection software space, is looking to bring on several Forward Deployed Engineers to work on-site in Washington, DC. They are looking for engineers with experience in either full-stack development, infrastructure engineering, or AI/ML. Based off your background, they will slot you into a role that will set you and their customers up for success. Preferred: - Strong experience with Full stack development in Python or Typescript - Experience implementing and scaling Kubernetes for customers environments - Previous experience in a client/customer- facing position collaborating with field engineers and stakeholders to translate mission requirements into deliverable solutions - BS in Computer Science or related degree - Ability to obtain US Security clearance

Desired: - Experienced with distributed AWS services: ECS, Lambda, EventBridge, CloudMap, etc. - Background working for Applied AI Startup - Background delivering AI/ML solutions and deploying into production (RAG, LLM's, Langchain, etc) - Active Secret clearance or above
