Manage a caseload of elder abuse cases, from pre-litigation through trial. Create a discovery plan, execute on discovery, meet and confer follow-up, and file discovery motions. Take and defend witness depositions. Qualifications 5+ years of civil litigation experience in California state and federal courts. JD degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the California state bar. Experience in business litigation or medical malpractice preferred. At least 1 jury trial as first chair. Experience with binding arbitration hearings, law and motion hearings, and second-chair trial experience. Experience taking and defending depositions of all types of witnesses (lay, professional, and expert). Strong law and motion experience with strong writing skills.
