This role is ideal for nurses who excel at venipuncture, enjoy working directly with patients in a customer-facing setting, and are looking for a change from traditional hospital environments. What You’ll Do Perform peripheral IV insertions with a high level of proficiency and efficiency Administer IV hydration therapies and IM injections Monitor patients during treatments and ensure safety and comfort Conduct basic patient assessments and document care in EMR Collaborate with medical assistants and clinic staff to maintain smooth patient flow Deliver a professional, friendly, and patient-centered experience What a Typical Day Looks Like Clinic-based setting with walk-in and scheduled patients Average 10–12 IV patients per day Fast-paced but controlled environment focused on efficiency and experience Strong emphasis on patient interaction and service Schedule 8-hour shifts Monday–Saturday: 9:30 AM – 5:15 PM Sunday: 9:30 AM – 4:15 PM Rotating weekends required 3-month assignment with potential for extension What You Bring Active California RN license 1+ year of strong IV insertion experience (must be highly confident) Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable with walk-in patient volume and clinic workflow Interested in hearing more?
