As a CVOR Tech, you’ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams within high-acuity cardiac, vascular, and thoracic environments. Exposure to a wide variety of cases and procedures will expand your skill set and add significant depth to your resume. Collaborating with accomplished surgical and nursing leaders will provide valuable insights into innovative practices and workplace cultures. Each assignment gives you fresh perspectives and boosts your expertise in cardiovascular care—preparing you for future leadership opportunities.
Schedule:
Two shifts per week, 07:00–19:30
Two shifts per week, 07:00–15:30
Cardiac, vascular, and thoracic call every 3rd week (Monday–Monday)
When specialized cases are not scheduled, support is required on other service lines
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Certified Surgical Technologist or equivalent CVOR training required
Strong skills assisting in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures
Previous travel or diverse hospital experience preferred
Ability to adapt quickly and support multiple service lines
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, maintain, and ensure the sterility of CVOR suites
Assist surgeons and nursing staff with instruments and equipment
Deliver high-quality patient care throughout surgical procedures
Remain on-call per rotation and respond efficiently to urgent cases
Flex into other perioperative service lines as needed
