Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide occupational therapy services in a school setting for the 26/27 school year, supporting students across multiple schools within the district. This full-time, contract position offers an 8-hour workday with a schedule from the first week of August through the end of May. The role primarily focuses on delivering occupational therapy services designed to meet the educational and developmental needs of students.
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, collaborating with educators and families, and documenting progress. The position requires supervision of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), ensuring quality care and intervention consistency across assigned schools. While district-wide coverage is expected, efforts are made to assign schools in close proximity to reduce travel time.
Qualifications and desired experience include:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
Background in home health and healthcare occupational therapy is beneficial
